5th Annual - Gun Lake Memorial Cruise

The 5th Annual Gun Lake Memorial Day Cruise is back!

Honor the Fallen, Thank the Living. That’s our goal with this event.

Started in 2020, this annual tradition is a way to show respect for those who fought for our freedom.

All Vehicle Types are welcome. We generally have a mix of Cars, Trucks, Motorcycles, Jeeps, Municipal Vehicles and Tow Trucks.

We do encourage groups to meet up offsite and roll in together, that way we can keep you all together.

Event Guidelines for Drivers:

-American & Military Flags Only

-No Torn or Tattered Flags

-Drive Respectfully

-No Throwing Items from Vehicles

Schedule:

9am – Staging Opens @ Gun Lake Community Church

10:30am – Driver’s Meeting, National Anthem, Safety Briefing

10:50am – Road Guard Rollout

***11:00am – Cruise Begins

***12:00pm – Cruise Ends

12:00pm – 3:00pm - Chief Noonday Car Park “Cruise In” Car Show

The Curley Cone will have their food truck on site, selling breakfast / lunch items, along with coffee, water and more!

By popular request, we will also be selling Gun Lake Memorial Day shirts & Decals

A portion of the proceeds will go to the Yankee Springs & Orangeville Veterans Memorials.

Shirts will be available via pre-order only until May 9th, so make sure to get your order in ahead of time! See the post in the discussion for more details.

The Cruise will end at the Chief Noonday Car Park, as they are hosting a “Cruise In” Event. This show is open to anyone who’d like to show off their ride, or who’d like to come and hang out.

There will be multiple food trucks vendors on site, along with music and fun for the whole family!
